Gary Bayes war der Fang des ersten englischen 60 Pfund Karpfens bekannt als „Two Tone“ aus dem berühmten Conningbrook Gewässer und das 10 Jahre nach Veröffentlichung des Scopex Squid Boilies. Darrel Pack räumte mit diesen Ködern am Yateley Car Park so richtig ab und viele weiter Angler konnten ihre Träume mit diesen Ködern verwirklichen.

Una campagna del 1994 dei tester della Nashbait in Belgio riguardo alle Scopex Squid ha assistito alla più grande Specchi del paese catturata in pochissimo tempo e ricatturata meno di tre mesi dopo da Ronny de Groote si trattava di un’enorme 33.8 kg (74 libbre 8 oz) e poi nuovamente catturata otto settimane dopo da un altro membro del team Philip Cotinier che con le Squid è diventato uno dei più grandi e rispettati pescatori belga. Il record belga sembra proprio legato all’uso dell’esca Squid.

Ronny ha tirato fuori le canne nuovamente nel successivo ottobre prima di iniziare una campagna dopo aver catturato la Regina più grande del paese. Tre viaggi e la Scopex Squid funzionarono magicamente ancora con un nuovo risultato: una Regina belga di 30.3 kg (66 libbre 12 oz).

La Nashbait continua a fornire di Scopex Squid i grandi pescatori fino ad oggi. Grazie all’aumentata capacità di produzione della fabbrica Nashbait le Scopex Squid si stanno rendendo più disponibili tra i tantissimi pescatori che non hanno mai avuto l’opportunità di usarla prima d’ora.
